There are so many amazing stories of women’s lives, experiences, struggles, and accomplishments that are completely ignored by mainstream history. That is not only sad, but a disservice to everyone, especially to girls and women who struggle to find female role models.

In this blog I plan to share a woman’s history tidbit every day. For months with designated history and heritage recognition I will feature women from that culture.

I LOVE WOMEN'S HISTORY

Sonya Thomas

Sonya Thomas is a Korean American competitive eater nicknamed the Black Widow; she is ranked 5th in the US and 6th in the world. Ms. Thomas holds records for eating 80 chicken nuggets in 5 minutes, 183 chicken wings in 12 minutes, 11 pounds of cheesecake in 9 minutes, as well as many others.
